The Helstorm Rocket Battery is a volatile war machine of the Empire, a wheeled frame from which racks of gunpowder rockets are loosed in screaming volleys across the battlefield. Devised by the ingenious and often reckless engineers of the Imperial Gunnery School in Nuln, the Helstorm hurls its salvoes in high arcs, raining fire down upon enemy formations from beyond the reach of return fire.

The rockets themselves are unpredictable things, prone to veering wildly or bursting prematurely, yet when a volley finds its mark the effect is devastating, scattering entire regiments in gouts of flame and smoke. Crews of the Empire of Man light the fuses with practised care, for a misfire can prove as deadly to the gunners as to the foe.
