Empire Knights

The knightly orders of the Empire are brotherhoods of the highborn and the proven: the Knights Panther, the Knights of the White Wolf, the Order of the Blazing Sun, and dozens more, each with its own patron god, heraldry, and jealously kept traditions. Whatever their colors, their trade is the same: Empire-bred warhorses, plate from the finest smithies, and the discipline to hold a charge until the precise moment it becomes unstoppable.

Imperial doctrine is anvil and hammer. The state regiments fix the enemy in place and endure; the knights arrive where and when the battle turns, and end it. A full wedge of Empire Knights at the gallop is one of the great sights of the Old World, and one of the last sights of a great many of its monsters.
