Warp Lightning Cannon

The Warp Lightning Cannon is Clan Skryre's dread artillery, a great brass-bound gun that fires not shot but a bolt of raw, screaming warp-energy drawn from a fragment of refined warpstone at its heart. When it discharges, a searing green arc leaps down the field and blasts through rank after rank, reducing armoured knights and lumbering monsters alike to smoking ruin. There is no armour proof against it and little cover that will stop it, and the crews that serve it work with the giddy recklessness of Skaven who know they may not survive their own weapon.

For the cannon is as treacherous as everything else Skryre builds. Overcharge the warpstone core and the discharge may fizzle uselessly, blast the crew apart, or tear a hole in reality itself. The engineers accept these outcomes as the cost of genius and simply conscript more crew. When it fires true, the Warp Lightning Cannon can decide a battle in a single shattering heartbeat of green fire.
