The Teeth of Terra

The Teeth of Terra is one of the most storied relics of the Blood Angels, a chainsword whose adamantine teeth have not stopped biting since the earliest days of the Chapter. Named for the cradle-world of humanity, it is a weapon that carries the weight of legend, borne only by heroes whose deeds have earned them the right to wield a piece of the Chapter's soul.

The blade is a masterwork, its motor never faltering and its teeth never dulling, tearing through ceramite and chitin and daemonic flesh with equal ease. Among the Space Marines sprung from the blood of Sanguinius, to be granted the Teeth of Terra is a singular honour, for the weapon has drunk deep of the Chapter's enemies across countless campaigns and its history is a saga in itself.

In the grip of a warrior consumed by the fury that is the Blood Angels' curse and their glory, the chainsword becomes a blur of screaming teeth, a whirlwind that leaves nothing whole in its wake. It has slain xenos warlords and champions of the Ruinous Powers, and each victory only adds to the reverence in which the Chapter holds it.
