Kakophoni

Where common Noise Marines dabble in the sonic arts, the Kakophoni have perfected them. Each is a virtuoso of destruction, entrusted with weapons of such power that a single sustained note can collapse a bunker or liquefy a squad. They consider themselves the truest artists of the Legion, their every volley a deliberate act of composition dedicated to the Dark Prince.

Massed together, the Kakophoni produce sound weaponised on an apocalyptic scale. Overlapping blasts create resonances that no material can withstand, and the psychic dimension of their cacophony claws at the minds of any who hear it. Enemies caught in the open are not merely killed but unmade, their bodies and sanity dissolving together in the onslaught.

The Kakophoni take immense pride in their craft and vie constantly for the honour of striking the decisive note in a battle.
