Brôkhyr Iron-master

The Brôkhyr are the master craftsmen and engineers of the Kin, guardians of the ancient technological lore that has kept the Leagues supreme in the void for so long. An Iron-master is among the most accomplished of their number, a battlefield artificer who accompanies the Oathband to war and ensures that its precious machines keep fighting no matter what punishment the enemy inflicts.

An Iron-master rarely fights alone. Attended by a retinue of specialised servitor-drones, drafted labour-units and repair-servitors that carry out their master's will, the Brôkhyr moves through the chaos of battle mending stricken war engines, restoring damaged exo-armour, and coaxing crippled vehicles back into the fight. Their tools serve equally well as weapons, and an enemy foolish enough to close with an Iron-master soon discovers that the instruments used to repair a war machine can dismantle a warrior just as readily.
