A Legion Destroyer Squad wielded the proscribed weapons of the age, rad-cleansers and clinging phosphex, and among the Eighth Legion such warriors found a home that felt no flicker of shame at their use. Where others deployed these armaments as a grim last resort, the Night Lords reached for them early and openly, for a foe choking on poisoned air and watching his comrades burn was a foe primed for the terror the Legion loved to inflict. The Destroyers salted the ground an enemy meant to hold, rendered his cities uninhabitable, and turned survival itself into a slow and public agony. It was atrocity dressed as tactics, exactly the kind the Eighth had made its trade. In the Heresy the Night Haunter's Destroyers scoured loyalist strongholds with weapons the Imperium had sworn never to use, mocking the very hypocrisy that had once condemned them for it.
