The Cerastus Knight-Atrapos is one of the rarest and most feared patterns of the Questoris Familia, a swift Cerastus-class war-suit armed with archaeotech weaponry of such destructive subtlety that few forge worlds retain the means to craft it. Its atrapos lascutter and graviton singularity cannon do not merely destroy their targets but unmake them, severing matter and warping the very fabric of reality around the point of impact.

Such fearsome armament makes the Atrapos a slayer of god-engines and monsters, a single Knight able to bring down foes that would defy a whole lance of its lesser kin. The Mechanicum guards the secrets of its construction jealously, and a noble house permitted to field one counts it among its greatest treasures.
