Arvus Lighter

The Arvus Lighter is a small, ungainly utility flyer used throughout the Solar Auxilia and the wider Imperium, a workhorse craft that hauls troops, cargo, and messages between the ships of the fleet and the surface of a warzone. Blunt-nosed and lightly armed, it is no dashing interceptor, but its rugged reliability makes it indispensable to the logistics of a Crusade cohort.

In battle the Arvus performs the unglamorous but vital tasks that keep an army fighting: delivering a section to a rooftop or landing pad, extracting the wounded, or ferrying urgent supplies through skies too contested for larger craft. For every heroic gunship remembered in the annals of the Crusade, a hundred humble Arvus Lighters flew the missions that made victory possible, their pilots braving fire and void alike in machines that asked only to be pointed in the right direction and flown.
