Legion Deredeo Dreadnought

The Legion Deredeo Dreadnought housed one of the Rout's honoured ancients in a frame built not to charge but to hold, a walking fortress of guns that turned the ground around it into a killing field. Where the Space Wolves revered their Contemptors as sagas loosed to hunt, they set the Deredeo down as an anchor, its heavy weapons filling the sky with fire and its autocannons scything apart infantry and aircraft alike. The interred warrior within had earned the long vigil, and from his armoured throne he guarded the packs as an old wolf guards the young, patient where they were wild. Few things unsettled an enemy more than a Space Wolves advance that was not all fang and fury, but was covered by the measured, murderous fire of an elder who would not be moved. Through the Heresy the Legion's Deredeos held the line while the packs ran free.
