The Royal Zombie Dragon is a decaying leviathan pressed into the service of the Flesh-eater Courts, the reanimated corpse of a mighty dragon that the mad ghoul-kings behold as a resplendent steed worthy of royalty. Through the shared delusion that grips the court, its rotting hide becomes gleaming scale and its pestilent breath a noble fire, and an Abhorrant king rides its back convinced he surveys his domain from the saddle of a glorious mount. The truth is grimmer and no less deadly: a titan of dead flesh and exposed bone that crushes ranks beneath its bulk, snatches victims in rotting jaws, and blights the field with the corruption gusting from its maw. Whatever the court believes it to be, the dragon kills with the same dead strength that made it terrible in life, an unstoppable engine of decay carrying the horde's king wherever the carrion-feast is richest. Beneath the delusion lies only ruin on mouldering wings.
