The Shardspeaker of Slaanesh is a mistress of illusion and reflected cruelty, a mortal wizard who wages war upon the senses rather than the flesh. She travels to battle upon a curtained litter borne by devoted thralls, hidden from sight until the moment she chooses to reveal herself, for a Shardspeaker understands that anticipation is its own exquisite torment.

Her sorcery is drawn from mirrors and broken glass. She conjures dazzling reflections and shards of light that split the foe's perception, sows phantom terrors, and can steal the very reflection from an enemy, leaving them unmade and reeling. Around her drift shard-fragments that wound both eye and mind, and her incantations turn a warrior's own senses into traitors. Where cruder Hedonites revel in speed and slaughter, the Shardspeaker savours confusion, delighting in the exquisite panic of foes who can no longer trust what they see. She is a connoisseur of disorientation, and to face her is to lose first your certainty, then your reason, and only at the very last your life.
