Arkanaut Ironclad

The Arkanaut Ironclad is the pride and terror of the Kharadron Overlords, the largest and most heavily armed vessel most sky-ports can field. Where the nimble frigates scout and skirmish, the Ironclad is a floating fortress of riveted aethermatic plate, its buoyant endrin hauling tons of ordnance into the clouds. A great sky-cannon dominates its prow, supported by drill-cannons, torpedoes and volley guns, while racks of aether-mines wait to be tipped upon the enemy far below. It carries a full complement of Arkanaut marines who rain fire from its gunwales or rappel down onto contested prizes. Admirals covet the Ironclad not merely for its firepower but for the statement it makes: that the sky-port which built it has aether-gold and ambition to spare. In battle it advances with ponderous menace, weathering fusillades that would gut lesser craft, and answers every challenge with a broadside that can shatter a stone tower or blot a monster from the sky.
