Knight Despoiler

The Knight Despoiler is the most common of the fallen god-machines, a versatile war-suit that mirrors the loyalist Knights from which the Traitoris are descended. Armed with a thundering reaper battle cannon and a heavy stubber, and gripping a reaper chainsword in its off hand, the Despoiler can shatter armour at range or wade into the press of battle with equal ease. It is the backbone of many a Dread Household's war-host.

What sets the Despoiler apart from its loyal kin is not its armament but its spirit. Ten thousand years of corruption have twisted the machine into a thing of spite, and its guns seem to seek out the Emperor's servants with a will of their own. Pilots favour the Despoiler for its adaptability, trusting it to answer whatever the battlefield demands. Beneath defaced heraldry and blasphemous icons, the ancient bones of a noble Knight endure, now bent wholly to the service of ruin.
