Knight Rampager

The Knight Rampager is a berserk engine of close-quarters slaughter, its war-suit stripped of ranged subtlety in favour of raw butchery. Twin reaper chainswords or a great cleaving blade arm the Rampager, and its corrupted reactor is driven far past safe tolerances so that the machine can hurl itself across the battlefield in a frenzy of grinding metal. Once a Rampager scents blood, nothing short of destruction will halt its charge.

The pilots who ascend a Rampager's Throne Mechanicum are those who have surrendered most fully to the madness of their fall. Bonded to a machine-spirit that knows only the desire to rend and crush, they lose themselves in the ecstasy of the kill, becoming little more than the will of the god-machine given voice. Rampagers are unleashed where the fighting is thickest, smashing through armoured lines and tearing apart anything within reach. They are the mad dogs of the Dread Households, and even their own allies give them a wide berth.
