Where a Technomancer preserves, a Plasmancer annihilates, channelling the same forbidden sciences toward the wholesale immolation of the necrons' enemies. In battle a Plasmancer unleashes torrents of coherent energy that scorch through armour and flesh alike, and its signature weapon calls down a living lightning that does not strike a single target but leaps hungrily from victim to victim, forking through a packed formation until whole squads lie blackened and still. The plasma seems almost sentient in its malice, seeking out the living with an eagerness that unsettles even hardened opponents, and the searing after-image of a Plasmancer's assault lingers in the eyes of any who survive it.

Such adepts embody the necrons' absolute command over energy in its most destructive forms, a mastery refined over sixty million years and more.
