Agripinaa

Agripinaa is a forge world of the Adeptus Mechanicus that labours in the shadow of the greatest wound in the galaxy. Positioned within the Cadian sector, near the seething maw of the Eye of Terror, its manufactorums exist for a single overriding purpose: to arm the endless war against the daemon-hosts and traitor legions that spill from that hellish rift.

For ten thousand years Agripinaa's foundries have never cooled, forging the lasguns, tanks and shells that sustained the defence of the Cadian Gate. Its output kept a hundred fortress worlds fighting, and its tech-priests grew grimly accustomed to war on their very doorstep, their skitarii and defence-cohorts bloodied in ceaseless skirmishes against Chaos raiders and worse.

When the Gate at last fell and the great enemy poured forth, Agripinaa became a bastion of last resort, besieged and blockaded yet refusing to surrender its sacred industry. Every hour its forges continue to turn is an hour the Imperium's counter-crusades can be armed and sent forth. Battered, blockaded and half-drowned in the corruption leaking from the Warp, Agripinaa endures as an anvil upon which the hammer of humanity is forever reforged.
