Solemnace

Solemnace is a tomb world of the Necrons, but it is unlike any other crypt-planet in the slumbering dominions of the star-gods. The world is the domain of a collector among the Necron nobility, an overlord whose obsession is not conquest but acquisition. His deathless legions range across the galaxy not merely to slaughter, but to seize artefacts, relics and living specimens for the ever-growing exhibits of Solemnace. Whole species are catalogued here, their histories reduced to trophies arranged for the amusement of an intellect that has outlived reason itself.

To be taken to Solemnace is a fate stranger than death, for its captured wonders include the last remnants of races the wider galaxy has entirely forgotten.
