Lord Mazdamundi

Lord Mazdamundi is among the eldest and most powerful of the slann mage-priests, the god-like intellects who guide the Seraphon across the stars. To gaze upon him is to behold a being of immeasurable psychic might, borne aloft upon a floating palanquin, his amphibian features locked in eternal concentration as he wrestles with the incomplete design of his creators, the Old Ones. Mazdamundi's power over the natural world is the stuff of terror and legend: at a thought he can shift the courses of rivers, wake slumbering volcanoes, and split the earth beneath his enemies. He remembers ages that mortal races have wholly forgotten, and to his ancient mind the wars of the present are but moves in a cosmic game stretching back to the dawn of creation. Roused from his meditations, he unleashes magic of apocalyptic scale, scouring the foe from existence with fire, storm and the raw force of his will. Mazdamundi does not fight for conquest or mere survival, but to steer the fate of the cosmos back toward the order the Old Ones intended, whatever the cost may be.
